1. Who is responsible for your data?

Flightless Code Ltd (Company No. 17546038, Registered Office: 66 Paul St, London EC2A 4NA, "we", "our", "us") is an independent software engineering company incorporated in England and Wales. We act as the Data Controller under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 for our software products, including Kiwi Driver.

2. Core Principle: Privacy-by-Design

We believe that software should be grounded and functional, not predatory. None of our software sells, rents, or brokers personal data. We do not integrate third-party commercial advertising networks, behavior trackers, or data-broker SDKs.

3. What information is processed?

• Delivery Routes & Navigation: Waypoint addresses, postcodes, and driver delivery order notes are processed on-device (offline-first). Geocoding and routing queries use minimal address strings transmitted over encrypted HTTPS proxies.
• Driver Memory & Gate Codes: Access notes, door codes, and customer drop instructions are stored locally in private device SQLite storage and are under driver control at all times.
• Location Telemetry: High-precision GPS is accessed exclusively while actively navigating or optimizing stops. We do not track your location in the background when the app is closed.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You have the legal right to delete your data at any time. Drivers can wipe all locally stored routes and profile data directly in the application via the Profile → Delete Account button, or submit a request via our Account & Data Deletion page.
